MY STORY

Have you ever had the bottom fall out at your job?   Have you ever had the people you thought would be supportive toss you to the wind and wipe the floor with you?

I had such an experience where my whole work structure was taken away from me.  The pain was excruciating and all I wanted to do was disappear.

I call this time in my life my “SMA experience” after Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, the faithful men whose belief would not sway. Despite being tossed into a fiery furnace that was seven times hotter than usual, they lived and not only did they live but they were promoted beyond their wildest dreams.

My “SMA experience” is one of the reasons I am here today. I began to see my medical business as a cornerstone upon which to build my dreams and grow. I am expanding my passion of helping the middle age woman regain her vibrancy and confidence.  I am untapping my creative writing talent and I am advocating to eradicate racial disparities. None of this would have happened had I not had my “SMA experience”.

What is your “SMA experience?”  How did you deal with it?  It can only be a “SMA experience” if you use it to thrive and grow beyond your wildest imagination.  If you have never had a “SMA experience”, promise me that when you do, you think of Dr. Bobbi and remember that you have all it takes to rise above it and thrive.
